How to Apply for an Online & Graduate Program

Bachelor of Science candidates interested in Business Management or Social Work undergraduate programs must submit the following materials to be reviewed for an admissions decision:

  1. Be a Transfer Student: Keuka College - Determining First-Time versus Transfer Applicant Status
  2. A completed online application by visiting: Apply for Admission | Keuka College
  3. Your official high school transcript or general equivalency diploma (GED); or Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC) submitted to Keuka College directly by your high school. Note: This requirement will be waived if the applicant submits proof of college degree conferral.
  4. Official transcripts sent directly from each college or university attended with a cumulative minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale. Note: This requirement will be waived if you have earned an associate degree.

Keuka College expects graduate students to exhibit high professional standards and academic excellence in the areas of leadership, research, communication, and critical thinking. Specific admissions requirements vary across all programs and are outlined below. Upon submission of all required application materials, students will receive official notification of acceptance or denial from Keuka College’s Office of Admissions. 

Pending an Admissions decision to Keuka College, accepted students that would like to commit to Keuka College are required to submit a $200 enrollment deposit to reserve their spot within their admitted program.

  4. Two letters of recommendation
  5. Proof of graduation from a registered teacher education program

In addition to the required application materials, accepted students must submit proof of passing New York State teacher certifications or proof of having applied for certification before enrolling.

Applicants must submit the following materials to be reviewed for an admissions decision:

  1. Completion of online application by visiting keuka.edu/aoe/apply 
  2. Submission of all official transcripts from each college or university attended with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  3. Proof of conferred bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution
  4. Two letters of recommendation
  5. A current resume
  6. A personal  essay

*Applicants who have earned a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution within six years of application may apply for advanced standing in the MSW program. For consideration for advanced standing, grades of “B” or better are required in all undergraduate Social Work courses, with grades of “C” or better in core writing, statistics, and human biology courses. Applicants for advanced standing must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Applicants must also submit all of the requirements above plus the final BSW Field Practicum Evaluation (or mid-term evaluation if practicum is in progress at the time of application). Candidates with one “C” in a Social Work course will be considered at the discretion of the admissions committee. Additional documentation may be requested.
